"Awesome. eBags has perfected the travel bag. Everything they say about it is
true. The wheels just glide through the airports. Ive never had a bag where Ive
noticed how smooth the glide was before. The fact that it stands up is fantastic
to me. Even with my computer bag sitting on top of it, it doesnt fall over. One
other thing they didnt mention in the marketing materials that Ive noticed is
that when Im in line at the airport and moving slowly, it is very easy to push
while standing upright. So, you dont have to lean and pull to move it forward it
will move easily while standing upright while in line. LOVE IT!!! Every once in
a while, a company develops something thats really intellengent and well thought
out. This is iPhone and Kindle level of excellence and expansion upon previously
offered products."

perfect carry-on for week-long trips (after trying out MANY, MANY other bags for
this purpose...). Used it recently for a 10 day trip through China, where I
wanted to have all my luggage on me to make sure nothing gets lost. This bag fit
the bill perfectly: Maximum allowed carry-on space, robust (as far as I can tell
so far), good-looking, and no unnecessary sub-compartments. The only thing I was
missing is a small top outside compartment for flight tickets, wallet and
similar things. Not a deal-breaker, though. Would definitely recommend this bag
without reservations."
"Pros: I have both a red and a lime-green eBag, and I love how they stand out in
a sea of black-on-black travel bags. I am tall and like the long pull-handle. It
rolls easily, stands up nicely and supports my briefcase or day pack on top.
Easy access to inside compartment and nice little pockets are a great feature.
Cons: Side pull straps are more of an inconvenience than a functionality.
Internal support rods get in the way. Should be an internal part of
construction. Like to have a tie-downs on both halves."
"I took this bag on a recent missions trip to Honduras. I knew that any bag I
took there would have to be tough enough to handle some rough conditions - and
this bag was amazing. Not only was it able to take the conditions of the terrain
and situation without any damage, it made the trip so much easier because the
bag is so well thought out. The shelves that allow items in the bottom to be
separated and held in place make locating things easy. The zippers open wide,
the bright interior
makes finding stored items easy. Ill absolutely be traveling with it again in
the future. One note of caution: because it handles a load well, it might be
easy to over-pack this bag and exceed the standard weight limit per bag when
traveling by air."
"I really like the mother lode junior. It suits my needs and gives lots of
options for extended times of travel. I like that there are pockets on the
outside and that the bags basement is so easy to access. I have two suggestions
for any design improvments, though--first I would like to see a handle on one of
the sides, not just the top. Sometimes its impractical to only be able to carry
it from the top. I travel in 3rd world countries and rolling it isnt always and
option. I usually have to use stairs, too. So one-handed carry is difficult
because it has to stand up tall. Secondly--I would like to see the top open up a
bit wider. Sometimes when Im traveling for long periods I would like to be able
to look in more easily and locate what I need without having to dig so much. I
have the older version of Mother Lode. These are both great and durable bags. Im
sold on them."
