series of tests have been devised to ensure your luggage is
hard-wearing and highly resilient, so it does what it was designed to

locks - have
to stand up to being opened and closed 15,000 times or five years'
daily use!
Delsey wheels - fully loaded wheeled suitcases cover several
hundred miles over an abrasive surface. They also have to stand up to
several hundred miles more on surfaces with obstacles such as stones
and steps.
The suitcases shells - a mass of two kilos falling from a
height of two meters suffers no damage.
Fully loaded Delsey hard top suitcases are subjected to 42
successive falls from different angles. Without forgetting the drum
test subjecting a fully loaded suitcase to 8 complete rotations in a
large cylinder bristling with irregularities on its interior surface.
This is the equivalent of being dropped 48 times.
Delsey handles are twisted thousands of times and the shoulder
straps tested to a tensile strength of 300 kg
Delsey zip fasteners can easily withstand being opened and
closed 15,000 times - the equivalent of five years' daily use.
Delsey buckles and clasps are subjected to extreme climatic
conditions (from -25° to 70°, in damp and salt-laden atmosphere -
without the slightest indication of corrosion.
Delsey fabrics undergo tear-resistance tests.
