 I
just bought this bag about a month ago and so far, I have used it twice. It is
extremely roomy and fits all of my stuff. I love the straps on the sides that
keep everything very secure. The compartments on the inside make packing very
easy. However, for me, this bag would never be able to go on an airline without
paying excess weight fees. Both times that I have packed this bag, I have packed
almost the same amount of stuff, if not less, than I did in my old bag, and both
time, the bag fully packed weighed over 55 lbs. I have weighed this bag empty
and it is coming up at 15 lbs. I'm using the luggage scale that I bought from
here to test it. However, I like the Spinner so much that I am going to buy the
25 model and the 21 carry-on to use together for flights I'm not flying that
much anyway and just save this one for car trips. It is a really great suitcase
and I love it!

I absolutely love this bag. I recently traveled to Sri Lanka
about 13,000 miles away and the bag lasted the journey
there and back. On my way there my bag was overweight and yet the bag held
through. Also the bag on it's own is very light in weight. On the way back due
to some complications in my journey I had to walk around the airport with my
bags and I couldn't help but be thankful that I'd bought this bag for this trip.
I was able to roll both bags together because of the easy spinner wheels while I
rolled my carry on bag in the other hand. I absolutely love these bags and would
definitely buy them again and also recommend them to anyone. Also luggageonline
was true to their word and sent my bags in the promised amount of time.

Our
warranty is backed by over 90 years in the luggage business. At Samsonite, we've
been making luggage since 1910. It's no wonder we stand behind our products.
 We sincerely believe that our luggage is the best in the world. We put our
products through rigorous tests to ensure that the luggage you trust is built to
the highest standards. You will probably never encounter a problem with your
Samsonite or American Tourister luggage. In the unlikely event that within 10
years* from the original purchase you discover a problem caused by defects in
either workmanship or materials, we'll be happy to see that it is fixed (or
replaced, if we decide that would be best). All we ask is that you bring your
case to one of our Authorized Warranty Repair Centers. If the Repair Center
determines that the problem is covered by our warranty, we'll take care of the
rest, at our expense. If a replacement is necessary and your product is no
longer available, a comparable product will be substituted.
Another great benefit to our warranty - it is good all over the world. If
product is purchased in the United States, but repair is needed in another
country, simply pay for the repairs and send your repair receipt with proof of
purchase to Samsonite Corporation, PO Box 90124, Allentown PA 18109, and we will

Samsonite/American Tourister luggage is tested to withstand normal wear and
tear, but is not indestructible and can be damaged by misuse. Our warranty (just
like other warranties worldwide) can't cover wear and tear or abusive treatment.
But our extensive repair network does ensure a timely repair at a fair price.
Misuse can include damage caused by airlines or other common carriers. Be
sure to check your luggage when it is returned to you. If you notice damage,
submit a claim to the carrier before you leave the airport. If your product is
damaged by a carrier or by normal wear and tear, or is out of the warranty
period, you can still contact an Authorized Repair Center that will advise you
and provide repair at your cost.
If you ship your product to a repair station, please send it prepaid, insured
and in a carton. Please include the following:

Samsonite, as this will only delay your repair. We've been around a long time,

Note: Not all products that carry the Samsonite and American Tourister names
are manufactured by Samsonite Corporation. Accessories, casual bags, backpacks
and business cases are among some of the products that are branded Samsonite or
American Tourister but may be covered under the manufacturer's own warranty.
Incidental or consequential losses are excluded. Some states do not permit
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this
exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and you may have other legal rights that vary from state to state.
Locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily
prevent theft of case or its contents. Manufacturing specifications are subject
to change without notice.
How to care for your American Tourister Products
Hardside Care
The American Tourister brand enjoys worldwide recognition and is synonymous
with quality, style, dependability and innovation in luggage and travel
accessories. Ensure the long life of your American Tourister products by
following these simple guidelines:
To clean hardside luggage, we recommend using a gentle soap and warm water,
rinsing well. If you would like to wax the case after cleaning, any good
silicone-base automobile or furniture polish will preserve the luster and add
resistance to the covering. We do NOT recommend, however, that you try to clean
the luggage with a combination cleaner-polish.
Softside Care
To clean softside luggage, we recommend spot cleaning with a mild soap (i.e.
dish soap) and water. If this is not successful, try a product used for spot
removal on clothing such as Spray 'n Wash, or using a foam type cleaner used to
clean car mats or automobile carpets (sold at car parts stores). If the luggage
has an offensive odor, use a vinegar (1 part) and water (5 parts) mixture. This
may take the odor out but it will then need to be aired out for a few days.
Also, we recommend placing charcoal in the bag for a day or more (depending on
the strength of the odor) and close the bag. The charcoal will absorb the smell.
Storing your American Tourister bag
Extremes of temperature, as well as the extremes of humidity will tend to age
luggage. Any American Tourister luggage which is being stored in an attic or
basement should be taken out of storage, opened, and permitted to "air"
regularly. This will help to prevent mildew from forming as a result of
humidity. It also assists in maintaining the normal resiliency of the case
itself. Following storage where extreme temperatures prevail, we recommend
cleaning the luggage (see cleaning instructions above).
